Leeanne and I took our wonderful baby girl to the doctor on Monday for a couple of shots, and what do we get when we show up in the waiting room?  Why, a breastfeeding mother.  Who didn't have the class to cover up.  Let's be honest.  It was always a curiosity when I was a teen to hear my aunt or my dad talk about some lady who was breastfeeding in public and not covering up.  But I've since learned that the women who don't cover up when they're breast feeding are exactly the ones even teenaged boys don't want to see breastfeeding when they're not covered up!!! Leeanne even covered up from me when she tried the breastfeeding thing.

We have children AND a budget, so we understand the health benefits and the difference in cost between booby milk and formula.  I'm not saying that anyone should have to feel embarrassed to breast feed her children in public or private.  I'm just saying that in a country founded by puritans and populated largely by Christians who still have some modesty related to nudity, bring a freakin blanket.

Fortunately I managed to keep my head turned throughout the ordeal at the office and don't expect any latent nightmares.
