Here comes tax time!!  Leeanne has been sacrificing a lot so she could stay home with our kids, and I want to buy her some jewelry with our tax refund.  She isn't really into rings, but I've had success giving her other types of jewelry.  For some tips on which way to go, I went to Bella True's website where they have "tips for guys."  Brilliant.  Most of us guys don't buy too much jewelry, so the tips are broken into 9 sections with different types of occasions. 

Since I pretty much always feel like a cheapskate, I'm more likely to overspend on jewelry so she doesn't think I'm cheap and because it might be a while before I buy any more.  The tips have various suggestions of pieces you might buy more casually, so I can still watch my budget, and maybe find a couple more occasions for gift-giving.



Then the ultimate...the engagement ring.  I think there is altogether too much to know about engagement rings to put in a quick guide like this one, but the guide serves it's purpose dead-on.  There is enough information in it to calm the uprising fear I'm sure everyone feels when they're about to purchase the engagement ring.  While it isn't comprehensive and in-depth, it is definitely enough to get a guy's butt down to the jewelry store and feel like he has half a clue of what he's doing, and I think overall, this guide will keep us from feeling like idiots when shopping for jewelry.
