A thief got run over by her getaway driver right here in South Florida.  It seems that after stealing (big surprise, more crooks out here) six purses worth over $1200, the police attempted to stop her as she got into her car.  The driver sped off before she was all the way in, and ran her over, then she jumped on the car but fell off and got run over again before finally making it into the car.

So I'm trying to play this all out in my head.  Was the driver an idiot as well and that's why he couldn't get her into the car? Or was it some kind of master plan to distract the cops from getting any relevant descriptions?  Sucks for her that she dropped a check and they got the license plate, so I'm pretty sure that they'll find her.  What kind of jackass goes out stealing with her damned checks? I hate South Florida.  Even the crooks are incompetent.
