I've been reading a lot about bamboo lately.  This stuff really is amazing.  I got the curiosity bug when I was watching Invention Nation on the Discovery Channel.  They were interviewing a guy who made bicycles out of bamboo.  That's just cool.  So here I am reading about how bamboo can grow 33% faster than the fastest tree, exchanges more CO2 for Oxygen than trees, has a higher tensile strength than steel, etc ad infinitum. 

I'm starting to thing this may be the best stuff on the planet.  I'm going to decorate a boat with bamboo.  Leeanne wouldn't let me get away with it in the house, no way.  But we want to buy a boat and live in the ocean, so I can convince her it has to be bamboo because it's lightweight.  We'll have bamboo panels, bamboo chairs, Bamboo shades, bamboo couches, bamboo fishing poles.
