Cheap "furniture" from walmart.  They have some pieces that are alright, but for a few dollars more you can get discount furniture from the web.  The stuff that Walmart is good at selling, like the crappy computer stand we bought the other day is DEFINATELY designed to be thrown away.  The box said it would hold 81 pounds.  I think it had a different idea of "hold" than I have.  After putting our 30lb monitor on top of it, it swayed back and forth so horribly that I was afraid I'd have to buy a new monitor. 

I now have my computer on a folding card table.  I think I'll leave it there.  At least folding tables are easy to move if we decide not to stay here. 

We gave the crappy table to the kid.  She'll find something to do with it.  We returned the other one that we had bought and they accepted it without any hubbaloo.  Good for Wally World.
