How did I miss this one?
So apparently I was sleeping at the wheel or something, because a new treatment for mesothelioma rolled around a couple of months ago and I didn't catch it. The new potential mesothelioma treatment involves a cream designed to fight skin cancer and a stimulant drug both into the meso-tumors in rats. Half of them were cured. The article didn't say what happened to the other rats.
Sure it'll be a while before we'll see it on the market and being prescribed, but that's huge considering the fact that usually, this diagnosis is a death sentance. Once again, hurrah for science.
