I've been watching some cooking shows on tv.  I never realized that cable had a channel devoted to cooking shows, and cooking shows only.  With a couple clicks of the remote, my DVR pulls them all out as they are scheduled, and bang, I get to watch them like magic.  A couple of my favorites are Jacques Pepin's "Fast Food, My Way" and "America's Test Kitchen." What really seems to get me is the level of equipment they get to use on tv shows.  No discount kitchen faucets here.  $200 pots, $3000 refrigerators, $800 sinks.  It's really freakin amazing to me.  One of these days, when we buy another house, I'm gonna have all the goodies in that kitchen.  Right after I fix my damned car.
