Terrorist attack

Well, I'm pretty sure that last Friday's airline attack had some passengers checking term life insurance rates as soon as they hit the ground.  Just when our president wins the Nobel peace prize for not being W.  I don't know about you, but I can't stop thinking about all the jackasses that were telling me when we got George W out of office that the world would be more willing to cooperate with us and that a lot of this terrorism would change into reasonable negotiation and the terrorsits would act more civil, since it was George's bellicosity (transitive verb for bellicose?) that was creating the conditions to invite the attacks.  It was a load of crap then, it's a load of crap now.  Granted, if the passengers hadn't stopped him, and he'd blown the plane up, Obama probably wouldn't have called for an invasion of Nigeria, but the attack happened.

I just can't see why it's being covered so calmly in the papers.  If this had happened last year, there would be OUTRAGEOUS amounts of commentary about how it was W's fault for creating the anti-American feelings in the world stage, and how his plan to combat terrorism was backfiring.  Christ, the media pisses me off.  I'm going for another round of Crown-n-Coke.
