More insurance
Well, I was talking to a guy at work about the way that BMI sucks and is totally worthless as a measurement tool. It seems that he had the same issue trying to get term life insurance quotes. All I can keep thinking to myself is how people like to keep on telling me that the market should be "allowed" to devise a solution to our health care problems, and that we should let insurance companies figure out the best way to cover everyone. The market is what led to the problem we have, no? The system where people like me can be considered overweight and nearly obese just to pump some more cash out of me if I want to buy insurance. They are quite obviously in the business of making money, not the business of providing health care, and seemingly not even in the business of providing coverage. Let them design a system, and it will be engineered to deposit the most amount of money possible into the company account.
