Looks like there might be something to that special decorating
I'm not talking about feng shui, which is a load of buffalo crap; independant feng shui specialists often differ about the best way to arrange a room for the same purpose. I'm talking about how tactile senses might stimulate or calm our emotions and even our behaviors. I first heard about this study on NPR's Talk of the Nation. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure that the car salesman who sold us our Ford Explorer was sitting in a chair that was much harder than mine. I also remember feeling very uncomfortable about negotiating with him and making a hard line in the sand, so to speak. I did it anyway, but I ended up sitting way on the edge of my seat. Wierd. Guess he knew something I didn't. I took it in the shorts on the interest rate, thinking I would just refinance in a couple months, but little did I know the real estate market was going to crash and screw me on my rental in Florida, leaving me in a position much too sorry to even consider refinancing.
